SOUTHLAND FISH & GAME: TROUT FISHING IN SOUTHLAND - WELCOME
Southland rivers have long provided wonderful trout fishing not only to local anglers, but also to the many visitors from other parts of New Zealand and increasingly from overseas who
travel to our district to test their skill in some of the best brown trout fisheries in the world and to fish for rainbow in the spectacular mountain streams.
"Trout Fishing in Southland" has been
produced by the Southland Fish & Game Council to assist anglers who may not be familiar with the facilities and streams in the regions. Since it was first produced more than thirty years ago, the book has proved
extremely popular and many requests for copies are received from overseas each year.
The Council believes that this revised edition contains information which is as up to date as possible and are grateful to
those who have assisted in its compilation and revision.
We recommend the book to all anglers and are confident that it will be found to be a valuable asset in promoting the enjoyment of the great sport of
